Since 2018 Exposure and Opportunities LLC (dba as Parent Matterz™) has been on a mission to democratize access to life changing opportunities by exposing historically excluded populations to educational and career resources
Our Vision
We hope to provide all parents with an easy to follow, holistic system for educational success. Helping parents inspire their children is our primary mission.
Junior Jump Start ™
Created in 2021 to help students and their parents navigate the college process before entering their senior year of high school. Our students have collectively received over $1 million in scholarships.
Opportunity Expos
Created to enlighten, empower and expose historically excluded students and their families to limitless career and vocational opportunities.
Why it Matters
It’s important to find and follow your passion in order to live your best life. Exposure programs can help you identify what you love and more importantly what you don’t like. This could eliminate years of the wrong major, college, profession etc. This search should begin in middle school… don’t wait until college. Learn how to help your child find their passion, excel in school, build their network and boost their self-confidence.

What does an educational consultant do?
An educational consultant, also called a higher education consultant, assists students and their parents in planning for college and financial aid.
When should we meet with you?
While we can step in to help a family at any point in their planning journey, the best time to contact us is in your student’s freshman year.
Can you guarantee that my child will get into their first choice school?
No one can ethically offer this guarantee. However, we can work with your child to shape their activities and application to give them their very best chance.
Our scholar, Vanessa received the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship which enabled her to attend Harvard for free! She was also accepted to over 20 colleges, including several Ivy’s!
